Former chapel of St. Mary Magdalene
Fifteenth century chapel rebuilt in 1839 but re-using some masonry and features. Bawtry has always been a border town between Nottinghamshire and the West Riding of Yorkshire. The bulk of the town has for centuries been in the West Riding but boundaries were until recently very tightly drawn and this chapel was in Nottinghamshire. Now in use as a Masonic Hall.
