Harmby Waterfall
Harmby Waterfall is hidden away below the A684, on the edge of Harmby village. Not marked on the map or by tourist signs along the road, the waterfall is easily accessible via a footpath with a simple wooden fingerpost sign which is simply marked “waterfall”. This is the part of the falls immediately above the footbridge shown in Image], as the stream falls rapidly after passing under Harmby Road (A684)

Harmby upper waterfall
It's several years since I last submitted a photo of this waterfall, but on this occasion the small beck that feeds it was running very high after recent rains. Few people ever realise that this waterfall exists although the wall that can just be seen above the fall is at the edge of the A684, whilst on the far side of that road is the Pheasant Inn
