Hornby Park and Castle
Looking across Hornby Park towards the castle. Hornby Castle was built by the St Quentin family in the 14thC and altered by Lord Conyers in the 15thC. Little of the original medieval building still stands, and parts have been demolished. The most prominent part of the castle visible here is the keep which retains some original features, otherwise most of the rest is late Georgian.

Hornby
Dominated by the church tower of St Mary's, lies the very picturesque (and I reckon, very expensive) hamlet of Hornby.
