Terrace facing out on to the green
This short terrace faces out on to the green on the north side of the parish church. The group is known as the North Arch and were once residences of the mid 18th century. Grade II listed. This area to the west of the church is still part of the High Street.

Entrance to Quaker Lane, Northallerton
Quaker Lane links the north end of the High Street A167 to Brompton Road A684 and can be used sometimes as a rat-run to avoid the heavier traffic in Friarage Street. I have never been able to find out why it is called Quaker Lane.
