Pool with gulls
The pool, on farmland close to the Harrowgate Village district of Darlington, may well be ephemeral - it was photographed following a spell of a number of days of heavy rain - it's not shown on OS maps at any scale. The gulls are probably black-headed.

The White Horse Hotel, Harrowgate Hill

The White Horse, Burtree Lane, Harrowgate Village, Darlington
A very popular pub which does drinks, and food, including breakfast. It is one of the Mitchells & Butlers Sizzling Pub & Grill branded pubs. It used to be called the White Horse Hotel and apparently was under threat of demolition about eleven years ago. See Mark Harrington's photograph from October 2005:- Image
