Entrance to Tower Wood
The access road opening off Tower Road. This was once the entrance to the Greencroft Estate. The tower name came from the elaborate gatehouse which stood here until the 1950's.

Looking through the trees on Tower Road
There is a narrow belt of trees on the south side of Tower Road from Tower Wood itself along to Maiden Law. Possibly part of the landscaping of Greencroft Park from the 19th century.
