Three Groups of Housing
Foreground is The Grove, then Moorside and next Castleside which is on the A68. Photograph was taken on the site of the former steel works, which is now landscaped.

Roundabout at The Grove, Consett
This is at the north side of the Grove, at the junction of Consett Lane with Priestman Avenue. The roundabout is used by the local buses which turn around here.

Bus turning at Selby Lodge, The Grove
The No 16 service from Consett to Castleside, serves The Grove estate en route. It runs through the estate to the north end and then turns around here and goes back to the main A692 road to continue its journey.

Junction on the A692
The road on the right leads off the A692 here to The Grove, the large housing estate to the west of Consett town centre. In the distance can be seen the village of Castleside and beyond, the moors of the Pennine foothills.
