An area of grassed, landscaped ground with deciduous trees beside the small County Durham settlement of High Handenhold. The blue and yellow naming plate is in a style widely in use in the county.

A footpath from Pelton to West Pelton emerges from fields onto the Roseberry Grange golf course at this point. This view is over one of the fairways. There are no clear indications as to the route of the public right of way.
