Opened in 1921 and run as a co-operative, followed by a period as part of The Scottish Milk Marketing Board. Finally closed in 2010 and is now being demolished for a housing development.

Kirkudbright Creamery
The creamery opened in 1921 http://www.kirkyards.co.uk/historyarticle.asp?ID=96&p=19&g=1 , though the tall building probably dates from the 1930s. In 2002 the creamery was bought by Milk Link, who closed it down in 2010. Zoomed view across the River Dee, from Kirkcudbright Harbour.
