An exhibit at Dalbeattie Museum
This 1986 Scotland World Cup squad record is in a window display in the High Street. At first glance I thought it was the embarrassing “Yaba daba doo, we support the boys in blue, and it’s easy, easy” but that was in 1974 and thankfully there was no sign of “Ally’s tartan army” from 1978. Former shop, High Street, Dalbeattie
Now apparently lying empty. It seems a bit out of place between the grey granite buildings on either side.
The building on the right was previously the Royal Bank of Scotland, but now houses 'Brides & Belles', a bridal shop.
