Visitor's car park, Annandale Distillery
Annandale, a very old distillery reopened in 2014 restoring whisky production to Dumfriesshire. I tried looking at their website, but turned away in disgust at the "requirement" to be of drinking age to even read about whisky. Whisky distillation is an important part of the chemistry curriculum in Scottish schools.

Gala Bank
Home of Annan Athletic and a plastic pitch. One advantage of a 3G pitch is that the stadium can be used other than on match days and a training session for young players was in progress at the far end. A very tidy ground.
