Annandale, a very old distillery reopened in 2014 restoring whisky production to Dumfriesshire. I tried looking at their website, but turned away in disgust at the "requirement" to be of drinking age to even read about whisky. Whisky distillation is an important part of the chemistry curriculum in Scottish schools.
