Park Circle

Houses in Warriston Road
There is some unusual planning in this Moffat housing estate. Not only is there a perfect circle of road (see Image]), but here, the terraced houses in this pedestrian-only part of Warriston Road are each stepped slightly back or forward to each other, producing a slight curve. The terrace on each side of the central green mirrors the opposite side.

Dowding House, Moffat
Air Chief Marshal Hugh Caswall Tremenheere Dowding was born in Moffat. Dowding House is a retirement home run by the Royal Air Forces Association.
