Country houses
This pair of houses sit along side a footpath which comes out onto a minor road that runs down the hill to Cromford. They both have very pretty and well tended gardens.

Willersley Tunnel
The tunnel at 794 yards long, one of many on the ex Midland mainline to Manchester via Buxton. Running through the beautiful Monsal Dale. The line now operates as a branch from Ambergate to Matlock, although the preserved Peak Rail continues on to near Rowsley.

Cottages along the road
This minor road is very close to the A6 which is a much busier road, but thankfully not that much traffic chooses to use this back road.

Heading for Matlock
A train from Nottingham just departing from Cromford Station and entering Willersley Tunnel. This was once the Midland Railway main line to Manchester but is now just a branch line to Matlock. How short-sighted it was to have truncated the line given the lack of capacity on the West Coast Main Line - the only surviving direct route from London to Manchester!
