Park Farm flats and car park
These flats have been here for around 60 years give or take a few. The car park edge we can see is for the Park Farm Shopping Centre.

Has not been a golf course for a long time. Now a housing estate. The path with the no cycling sign used to pass a trig point. Long since demolished.

Beeley Close, Allestree
Marked out for car parking in connection with the nearby University of Derby main campus; parking appears indicated on both sides of the road, even though that would result in the road being blocked completely.

The leafy suburb of Allestree
This view is near the bottom of Birchover Way, Allestree. This spring view shows the flowering Cherry Trees in full bloom. With little frost this spring most of the trees are laden with blossom.

University of Derby
Derbyshire's only University, the photo shows the tower blocks of the Kedleston Road campus viewed from across the lake in Markeaton Park. In 1992, it was the only college (Derby College of Higher Education) to be upgraded to a University along with the polytechnics. The University has several campus sites in Derby and one at Buxton and they offer a wide range of courses from Access right through to PhD. See http://www.derby.ac.uk for further information.
