Clock House, Little Eaton
This historic building took a lot of finding as it is hidden in a modern industrial estate and the canal basin it adjoined has been filled in. This was built as a canal building in the late 18th century and adjoined the terminal basin of the Little Eaton branch of the Derby Canal. The Little Eaton Gangway (horse drawn plateway) also terminated here.

The New Inn
The New Inn is not very new. It is recorded in Pigot and Co.'s national commercial directory as early as 1828, when it was in the hands of a "Jno. Stanley". It stands opposite the former wharf at the terminus of the Derby Canal Little Eaton Branch, where cargoes were transferred between the canal and the Little Eaton Gangway.

Former Railway Little Eaton
The pink building is the former station. The bridge carried the line across the Bottle Brook and the line was on a level crossing towards the photographer. The line was still in use in 1982 and the bridge looks in good order. One bridge girder had been adapted to act as platform.
