Steam engine, Trent Brewery, Burton on Trent
Buxton & Thornley horizontal single. Had been removed for preservation down south then bought back, restored and re-installed when the brewery became a heritage attraction. It has again been removed for preservation and it current location is not known to me.

Trent Brewery
The former Everards Brewery in Anglesey Road, Burton. Closed 1985 but re-opened as a heritage brewery in the late 1980s. The original steam engine was re-installed and was workable for a time but the heritage operation collapsed amidst rumours of irregularities. The Brewery is now being redeveloped.

Former brewery and maltings - Burton-on-Trent
The cowl on the maltings bears a goat to act as a wind-vane. These buildings are derelict and look ripe for redevelopment. Nearby, the former Trent Brewery has been converted to apartments.

Goat and cowl on a former brewery
This on top of an octagonal kiln that is part of a long disused brewery and maltings in Burton-on-Trent. Although much has been lost, there are still significant remains to be seen.

This was the Trent Brewery and later, under the ownership of Everards of Leicester, it became Tiger Brewery. It was for a while operated as the Heritage Brewery but ultimately closed and has now been converted to dwellings.

It was for a while operated as the Heritage Brewery but ultimately closed and has now been converted to dwellings. I presume the copper in the foreground was part of the plant that has been saved. Former Meakin & Co Maltings, Burton-on-Trent
It is hard to find references to many of the former brewery related sites in Burton but I think I have identified this site that is now in multiple occupancy and looking decidedly unloved. I would welcome any further information.
