Burton Town and Uxbridge Neighbourhood

Burton’s traffic free town centre has a wide range of shops and leisure facilities and attracts a vibrant crowd of shoppers and revellers.

Uxbridge lies close to the town centre and is a busy and vibrant area of mainly traditional residential properties and small businesses. It has good transport links, excellent schools, local facilities and a diverse choice of places of worship.

On 14th July 2025 a targeted operation took place in the immediate area which saw a number of partnership agencies coming together to take action. A number of visits to premises were made and items seized, two arrests were conducted and a number of vehicle enforcement actions were made by dedicated traffic officers. More operations like this are planned.
