The Alfred Public House, Derby Road, Burton-upon-Trent, Staffs.
The Alfred public house is situated opposite the site of the demolished Truman's Brewery. Consequently some brewery memorabilia can be seen inside. It is now a Burton Bridge Brewery tied house serving the usual range of cask beers and usually a guest beer.

Large Brewery
A large brewery at Burton on Trent, I think this example is Coors. This was taken after coming off the train (that station is behind me) on my way to Claymills pumping station two miles away. The pumps where built to pump sewage (including brewery waste) away from the town. Some additional information: The vertical loop is to accommodate expansion (vital in a long steam line). The unlagged portion on the left shows a blind leg extending below the horizontal - this would have been trapped to remove any condensate.
