Canal and Major Road
The Trent and Mersey Canal running alongside the A38,a greater contrast in speed is hard to comprehend when walking along the towpath with traffic thundering past at up to 70mph whilst the canal boats chug along around 4mph,every boatman today managed a cup of tea when passing.
