Mansfield Bros, Albert Village
Ruinous brickworks. Amazingly enough an old boy was still doing something with some kit on one part of the site.
The Vernon & Guest steam engine was saved locally and in 2006 was advertised for sale in Old Glory magazine.
I'm a naughty boy - my camera bag and tripod are visible left of centre just above the rickety fence.

The 50's American Diner
The 50's American Diner started its life in 1952 as Murphy's Diner in Cambridge, Massachusetts and is, therefore, the genuine article. It was brought to the UK as a restoration project in the mid-1990s.
