Main Lodge, Lintrathen
Together with the West Lodge Image, this building may have been a lodge to a big country house which is no longer standing. But it looks too large and elaborate to be a lodge in this sense; maybe it was a shooting "lodge" which can be enormous.

Loch of Lintrathen
Loch of Lintrathen is a reservoir north-north-east of Alyth. Along with the larger the larger Backwater Reservoir, it supplies water to Dundee and many smaller towns and villages.

Buses stop here occasionally
This bus stop on the south shore of Lintrathen Loch doesn't see a great deal of traffic. The "Lintrathen Circular" service from Kirriemuir runs twice a day on Tuesdays and Fridays, but even then only on prior request to the bus operator.

The Egg Box
Eggs for sale at the road entrance to Cairnhall. £2.50 a dozen with an honesty box inside. No money nor eggs were found inside.
