Monifieth skyline
Against the low sun several distinctive features are silhouetted. The spire like protrusion is actually the top of a large house, while the tree in the centre is a distinctive monkey puzzle tree.

Although Monifieth is proud of being part of Angus and independent from Dundee, it is effectively a dormitory suburb of the city. This view looks east along the A930 through the town.
