Site of former railway line
Part of the former Dundee Newtyle line, the next stop was Baldovan Station. See ImageAt this point the line crossed over Camperdown Road by a bridge.

The disappeared Gelly Burn
Up to the late '50s there existed here the Gelly Burn. It has either dried up or gone subterranean. To the left of the wall there was a short footpath. The photograph was taken from a point close to the site of a small stone built bridge.

Downfield South Church
On 26 September 1889 the present church building was opened. It united with the Free Church in 1909 to become the Downfield United Free Church. In 1929 many breakaway congregations rejoined the Established Church. As there was already a Downfield Parish Church in that part of the city that one was renamed Downfield North. Consequently this church became Downfield South.
