Ready and waiting at Tayside House
Three floors have already been demolished by robotic machines. (Blowing up was not an option because of the railway tunnel underneath.) Now this huge machine will tear down the remainder of this building as part of the city centre redevelopment. Many Dundonians will be pleased to see it go, although there are other opinions. Tayside House demolition in progress
A chance snap taken while sitting in a queue of traffic coming off the Tay Bridge. Despite the wonky vertical, I thought the image worth posting for its historical value. The former council offices were scheduled to disappear for good by Friday, 21st June.

Reflections
This is Image] reflected in the wall of the walkway which links the Caird Hall, on the right, with the podium block of Tayside House, on the left. On reflection, this reflection may not exist for much longer, because Tayside House is scheduled for demolition, having dominated the waterfront skyline for a mere three decades or so. A sorry reflection on the times.
