Newton of Arbirlot
In the foreground is a field of tatties, the shaws recently cut down to encourage growth of the tubers and make harvesting easier. Once upon a time, they used to spray the shaws with a defoliant, but no doubt that's not allowed now. By the farm buildings is a large stack of wooden tattie boxes ready for the harvest to come.
