Herring Gulls (Larus argentatus)
On Harbour wall at Gourdon. The two birds on the left with red gonydeal spots and pure white heads are adults, those on the right with dark gonydeal spots and somewhat streakier heads are immature - they may not reach full adult breeding plumage until their 5th year.
