Maggie Law Maritime Museum, Gourdon
The Maggie Law Maritime Museum, William St, Gourdon. Originally an RNLI station opened in 1878 and closed in 1969. The centrepiece of the Museum is the double ended surf lifeboat Maggie Law, designed and built in 1890 by James Mowatt. The boat is credited with 36 saved lives during its service between 1890 and 1930.
