Opened in 1895 by the Bexleyheath Railway on the line from Lewisham to Dartford.
View east towards Barnehurst and Dartford, a few years before the footbridge was replaced.

Glengall Road Royal Mail Sorting Office
Photographed from the corner of Woodlands Road near Bexleyheath station. This sorting office is very much of the 20th century and makes an interesting contrast with the Victorian sorting office at Brixton - see http://www.geograph.org.uk/photo/2636847.
