Railway cutting at Barnehurst
The line from Blackheath to Dartford opened on 1st May 1895. This view looks down the line towards Barnehurst from Erith Road. This section has had a number of landslips over the years which have closed the line, and it was fully closed for a week in February 2020 so that major engineering to prevent future landslips could be carried out. Part of the result can be seen here.
