Russell Park, Bexleyheath
Although not the most interesting park, mostly consisting of treeless expanses of mown grass, Russell Park has a few more varied spots.

Russell Park
Not the most interesting park in Bexley, it was hard to find an attractive viewpoint. This path between the tennis courts and Long Lane was about the best.

Travellers Home Pub Bexleyheath
In Long Lane on the borders of Barnehurst and Bexleyheath, this was my local 40 years ago. George and Betty at the time served a great pint of Worthie E. Long gone it's now part of the 'sizzlingpub' chain - all browns and oranges - and that's just the decor. So much for memory lane ventures!

Railway line near Bexleyheath
A double-track railway between Bexleyheath and Barnehurst stations, in the outer suburbs of south east London. Here, the railway is in a shallow cutting.
The railway is electrified using the third rail system.
