Glengall Road Royal Mail Sorting Office
Photographed from the corner of Woodlands Road near Bexleyheath station. This sorting office is very much of the 20th century and makes an interesting contrast with the Victorian sorting office at Brixton - see http://www.geograph.org.uk/photo/2636847.

William Camden Pub Bexleyheath
Close to Bexleyheath Station on Avenue Road. Probably named after William Camden who died in 1623, and who owned the manor and surrounding land in neighbouring Old Bexley. He bequeathed the lands to the University of Oxford but full possession did not take place until 99 years after his death. Today much of the land around Bexley is still owned by the University. Having previously lived in the area for 28 years (many years ago) I have to admit it's one I have not frequented.
