Bexley: postbox № DA5 310, Steynton Avenue
This Edward VIII-reign postbox stands outside the shops by the station, and marks the location of Albany Park Post Office prior to its closure in January 2003. As he reigned for less than a year and abdicated in frowned-upon circumstances, boxes bearing the cipher of Edward VIII are few and far between. There are perhaps just over 100 in present-day use.

"The Albany", Bexley, Kent
It's mid-April, and the Six Nations Rugby competition is well and truly over for this year, but the patriotic flags of England, Scotland and Ireland are still flying outside this large suburban pub. Perhaps they have been left in place in anticipation of the World Cup, due to begin in two months' time.
