The Railway Hotel
To the east of Dartford Station over the car park and taxi rank is The Railway Hotel. Facing the rail link between London and Gillingham it is ideally placed with access to Bluewater via Greenhithe Station or by Fastrack to the south behind the hotel.

The Salvation Army Church
On Hythe Street. Has several dedication foundation blocks. The one closest to the door on left reads "This stone was laid by Councillor F.S.Putland Chairman U.D.C. 20th July 1912". The dedication block on the right of the door reads "This stone was laid by the Bandmaster on behalf of the Band 20th July 1912".

Dartford station, 1990
View eastwards, towards Gravesend etc.: ex-SE&CR North Kent Lines, London Charing Cross/Cannon Street, via Greenwich, Bexleyheath or Sidcup, to Gravesend, Strood etc. Since 1990 this very busy, nodal station has been totally rebuilt.
