Liverpool - Birmingham express nearing Acton Bridge station
View northward, towards Weaver Junction, Liverpool and Warrington, Preston etc. on the WCML. The 12.15 Liverpool Lime Street to Birmingham New Street is headed by Stanier 'Jubilee' 6P 4-6-0 No. 45708 'Resolution' (built 6/36, withdrawn 2/64). Electric services on the line from Lime Street to Crewe began 10 days after this.
