Cast iron post by the A534, in parish of Faddiley (Crewe and Nantwich District), between Faddiley and Brindley, on grass in front of hedge, on South East side of road. Cast iron CCC1898, erected by the County Council in the 19th century.

Old signpost on the A534 at Faddiley
The signpost is an old Cheshire County Council (CCC) octagonal type dating possibly early 20th century. If earlier than 1921 it would account for the addition of the road number fixed to the top of the arm.
