Bends in the A530 at Broomhall Green
The A530 connects Whitchurch and Nantwich. The bends here cause visibility problems immediately south of Sound & District Primary School. Residents have campaigned for a speed limit, so far without success

Broomhall and Sound Methodist Chapel, Sound
Methodist chapel dating from 1838 which serves Broomhall and, since 1973, Sound. The inscription above the entrance reads 'United Methodist Church'. A plaque on the wall (right) reads 'Methodist Chapel / Erected 1838 /By Jos. Cartlidge'

Old Milepost by the A530, Whitchurch Road, north of Broomhall
Cast iron post by the A530, in parish of Broomhall (Crewe and Nantwich District), Sound; North of Sound School, on the verge in front of hedge, on North West side of road. Cast iron CCC1896, erected by the County Council in the 19th century.
