Former children's home and schools, Barony Court

Former entrance block to workhouse, Barony Court
Entrance block to the workhouse (behind), constructed in 1780. According to http://www.workhouses.org.uk/index.html?Nantwich/Nantwich.shtml it was originally single storey. Now named John Snow House, it is used by the NHS

Former workhouse, Barony Court
Constructed in 1780, the former workhouse building follows a U-shaped plan, with three storeys; an entrance block is adjacent (out of frame on left). Between 1930 and 1994, it formed part of Barony Hospital. Now named Bevan House, the building is currently used by the NHS. Beam Bridge on the River Weaver
Beam Bridge carries Barony Road (A51) across the Weaver at the northern edge of Nantwich. The poplar on the right of frame is part of a stand of these trees in a recreational area on the east bank of the river. View north east from beside a weir

St Mary's Cemetery, N Nantwich
The older of two cemeteries in Nantwich, St Mary's has graves dating from the late 1840s. According to the groundsman, the cemetery was formerly known as Fingerpost Field, and it was opened to cope with cholera epidemics of the 1840s. This view is towards the eastern boundary
