Queen's Park, East Lodge
One of a pair of lodges (see also
Image]) at the Victoria Avenue entrance to Queen's Park. At the first-floor level, an inscribed bressummer carries an inscription commemorating the Golden Jubilee of Queen Victoria and the 50th Anniversary of the opening of the Grand Junction Railway.

Queen's Park - east lodge
Each of the pair of lodges at the main (north) gates of the park is grade II listed. The list entry for this one is 1138681. Architect John Brooke, date 1888. The white wording between the ground and first floor appears to read "The Jubilee of Her Majesty Queen Victoria and the 50th Anniversary of the opening of the Grand Junction Railway".

Queen's Park: north gate lodges
A pair of mock half timbered lodges either side of the entrance from Victoria Avenue. There is an inscription round both lodges which in total reads:
"This park was given by the London & North Western Railway Co 1888 to commemorate the jubilee of her most gracious majesty Queen Victoria and the 50th anniversary of the opening of the Grand Junction Railway and was opened together with the Victoria Avenue by Field Marshal Commander in Chief HRH the Duke of Cambridge KG on the 9th of June 1888. F W Webb Mayor F Cooke Town Clerk"
Webb https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Francis_Webb_(engineer) was not only Mayor (twice) but also Chief Mechanical Engineer of the town's major employer, the LNWR, 1870-1903.
