The Alder Nursery
This small patch of woodland is just across Davenport Lane from Brereton Heath Country Park. From the name given it one assumes it was once the area for growing Alder saplings for planting on other parts of the former Brereton Heath estate.

This is the gate in the North-West corner of the park. It is also the start of the bridleway that follows the Northern and Eastern boundaries of Brereton Heath Country Park, finally emerging on the South-Eastern corner (Image).
