Congleton - a ghastly pastiche
I understand this vessel was a club but has been disused for some time. I was sufficiently unimpressed as to not bother crossing the road for a closer look.

The Congleton Steamboat
As might be expected, there is a story behind the presence of a 60-foot steamboat moored and rotting on the River Dane in Congleton, Cheshire. Briefly, it is a former trawler built in Denmark in 1974, decommissioned in 1994 and found in a Holyhead boatyard by Cheshire businessman Joe Terry who bought it and had it transported to Congleton with the intention of transforming it into a seafood restaurant. The venture was not a success, and while changing hands several times the boat has quietly continued to decay. Derelict mill
One of several former mills in Congleton that are going derelict and, hopefully, waiting for a developer. Although with today's economic climate it could be some time. This mill is located by Image
