The facade of the former wire mills Image was being retained while new housing was constructed on the rest of the site. Yet another bit of British industry gone.

Elworth Wire Mills
Prings are still an important manufacturer of drawn wire. It is nice to see that nevertheless the traditional painted name on the building has been retained.
