Taverners Bridge in Atherstone, Warwickshire
Taverners Bridge is No 40 across the Coventry Canal. It was built as a rural accommodation bridge, but now functions as a footbridge between Taverers Lane and Bachelors Bench.

Coventry Canal: Bridge Number 40: Taverners Bridge
The bridge may have been built originally to enable access over the canal from the New Road, now Westwood Road, to a sand pit. The pit has since been filled in and covered in a housing development, and the bridge now carries Taverners Lane over the canal.
