The Thatched Cottage, Berkswell
Grade II listed https://www.britishlistedbuildings.co.uk/101054919-the-thatched-cottage-berkswell#.WqLPVNSLTGg in 1976, this fine timber framed cottage dates back to the 17th century, and is clearly being well looked after.

Berkswell village hall, Meriden Road
The hall is known locally as the Reading Room. The inscribed plaque in the gable reads J.H.W. 1900 — very likely standing for Joshua Hirst Wheatley who bought Berkswell Hall in 1888. The foundation stone, half hidden by the banner, is seen close up in Image Not listed.
