Row of shops, Wheelwright Lane, Holbrooks
The junction with Nunts Lane can be seen just beyond the row. These appear from the front to be single-storey, lock-up shops, though the dormer window on the side of the One Stop shop suggests housing above and behind.

Shops, Wheelwright Lane
A parade of small shops in Wheelwright Lane. Up until the early 1980s this building was a Co-op supermarket, and the Stagecoach bus (heading from Coventry city centre to Nuneaton) on Wheelwright Lane would have been a Midland Red bus. The Travel Coventry bus to the right is the number 13 Whitmore Park bus at its terminus stop.

Heavenly Scent
This small building houses a very colourful florists', from which a distinctive floral aroma emits. Until the 1990s it was a rather austere-looking bookmakers ('turf accountant') from which a constant horseracing commentary emitted.

Wheelwright Lane bus terminus, Holbrooks
Located in the V between Nunts Lane and Wheelwright Lane (foreground), this little cut through enables buses on route 13, which approach via Nunts Lane, to return whence they came. Despite being at the north end of Holbrooks, buses terminating here shown "Whitmore Park", just about the only remaining one of a few examples of buses in Coventry showing a destination that is more about how they get to where they're going than where they actually end up.
