The Coventry Irish: St. Finbarr's GAA (Gaelic Athletic Association) club, set well back from the road behind a row of shops and a supermarket car park. There is a club building with sports pitches behind the fence.

Polish Holbrooks: Mniam Mniam & Malinka
Looking towards the top of Holbrook Lane, leaving Coventry; beyond the traffic lights it becomes Wheelwright Lane. The small restaurant Mniam Mniam (Yum Yum) offers traditional Polish dishes. Beyond it is the Malinka Polish delicatessen, with its grey-above-red frontage, and in between, a beautician's parlour.

Wheelwright Lane and Holbrook Lane, Coventry
Looking south from the crossroads of Wheelwright Lane, Hen Lane, and Roland Avenue towards Holbrook Lane. To the left after the bus stop can be seen the Lyric Discount Centre (formerly a cinema and bingo hall), and the Kia car dealership, occupying the site since 2016. On the right the corner building of the Coventry Building Society can be seen as it curves around into Parkgate Road. The road surface of Holbrook Lane (from the middle distance onward) has been resurfaced and repainted this past week.

This is Holbrook Lane looking northwards from near the Holly Bush public house on a spring morning, with trees newly in leaf. The common lime in the foreground has a habit, common in limes planted as street trees in Britain, of sprouting from the base of the trunk.
