Desiccated paddling pool, Allesley Park
Sorry kids, paddling pools are 'out'. Cost of keeping litter, dogs, yoofs, broken glass out etc. etc. You might still find one with water at St Nicholas Park, Warwick if you can drag your parents that far. The old playground area - replaced by a new one nearer the golf course. 2012 : http://www.geograph.org.uk/photo/2756830

Left to grow, Allesley Park
There's no sign of the paddling pool that used to be here, now. The grass has been left unmown in an attempt to create a wild flower meadow. In 2009: http://www.geograph.org.uk/photo/1514248
