The City Arms, Earlsdon
Handsome timber-framed pastiche at the corner of Earlsdon Avenue South and Earlsdon Street; a very poorly-sited pub from the photographer's point of view: it's almost always in shadow.

Allard House
Former factory originally built in 1885 as a nail foundry by a William Pitt. The green plaque on the front states it was Earlsdon's first factory. However it closed within a few years following complaints from neighbours about the smoke from the foundry. It reopened in 1890 as the Allard Cycle Works, set up by a professional cyclist originally from Northampton, Fred Allard. Subsequent occupants included the Fulwell Cycle Co Ltd (from 1898 to 1905), the Standard Cycle and Plating Co, the New Era Engineering Company (manufacturer of Wheatcroft Motorcycles), the Calso Hood Co and the Lammas Manufacturing Co. (manufacturer of Cyclo Silencers). In 2011 it was sold and it has since been refurbished for office and residential use. Locally listed.
