"The Ponderosa", Tile Hill North
Although this open recreational space is unnamed on the OS map, its has been known locally, for some considerable time, as "The Ponderosa". When the neighbouring housing estate was new, the TV western "Bonanza" was also new and popular. People must have seen some resemblance to Bonanza's Ponderosa ranch!
