Start of bridleway
The A3400 has been realigned here, reducing the sharpness of the bend. The bridleway runs along the old road to the left and heads to Willington.

Old road
This stretch of road was once part of the A34, since re-designated as the A3400. The road was re-aligned to reduce the sharpness of the bend where it bridged Pig Brook. The cats eyes remain in situ and the road markings can be faintly seen.
